"GIVE BLACK MEN THEIR FLOWERS"

There is a phrase that says Black men do not receive any flowers until they are in their grave. This hit home for me when my father passed away in December 2021 and why I have titled the project "GIVE BLACK MEN THEIR FLOWERS". This is to pay homage to some of the influential Black men that I have come across in my life and tell them that I see you and that you are appreciated.

Background Information:

Each participant was asked to wear clothing & colors that best represented them. They were also tasked with picking a location that was meaningful to them. Each participant was given flowers based off of the colors they decided to wear and were given these flowers to keep for the literally meaning of giving them their flowers.
